About TankPicks
TankPicks is an aquarium-filter comparison website built to make manufacturer specifications easier to interpret.
What the site does
The filter finder narrows a catalog using tank volume, water type, livestock sensitivity, stocking level, and preferred installation style. Supporting guides explain the practical decisions that a quiz cannot make: physical fit, flow distribution, maintenance access, reef-system limitations, and media care.
What the site does not claim
TankPicks has not hands-on tested the products in its catalog. It does not publish star ratings, customer-review summaries, laboratory measurements, veterinary guidance, or professional credentials. A result is a structured comparison of published specifications, not a guarantee that a product will suit every aquarium.
How corrections are handled
Product names, capacities, and links should point to the identified model or its official manufacturer family page. A model is removed from ranking when the manufacturer does not publish enough information to apply the quiz rules safely. Specifications can change, so visitors should verify the current manufacturer documentation before purchasing.
