The current TankPicks site is a static website. It has no account system, contact form, advertising scripts, analytics code, or affiliate tracking enabled in this repository.

Quiz answers

Quiz answers are processed in your browser to display filter matches. The site does not send those answers to a TankPicks database, and it does not store them in cookies or browser storage.

Hosting data

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like other web hosts, Vercel may process request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. TankPicks does not control Vercel’s independent retention and security practices.

External links

Manufacturer and retailer links take you to third-party websites. Those sites may collect data under their own privacy policies. Amazon search links are currently untagged. If affiliate tracking is activated later, this policy and the on-page disclosure should be updated before deployment.

Cookies and local storage

The current TankPicks code does not set cookies and does not use local storage. Third-party sites reached through external links may do so after you leave TankPicks.

Personal information

TankPicks does not provide accounts or a form for submitting personal information. Do not send sensitive information through external retailer or manufacturer links unless you have reviewed that site’s privacy practices.

Changes

This page should be reviewed whenever analytics, forms, advertising, affiliate tags, accounts, or other data-processing features are added. The effective date will be updated when the policy changes.
